This policy covers the Kepvela apps from Pennylamp LLC: KepvelaPic, KepvelaDocs, KepvelaScan and KepvelaAudio.

The short version

The Kepvela apps do not collect, store or share any information about you. They have no internet permission, so Android does not let them send anything off your phone. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

What stays on your phone

Your photos, videos, documents, scans, recordings and the files the apps make from them stay on your phone. The apps read them only to show them to you and to do what you ask. Edits, text recognition, transcription and every AI feature run on your phone's own processor or AI engine. Nothing is uploaded.

Settings, your recent files and the apps' own working files are kept in the apps' storage on your phone. Uninstalling an app deletes them. Some apps keep files in their own folder, such as KepvelaAudio's recordings or the original copies of photos you edited. Uninstalling the app deletes that folder too, so save copies elsewhere first.

.kept files are protected with a key stored in your phone's secure hardware. Only Kepvela apps on that phone can open them.

Permissions

Each app asks only for what its features use, and only when you use them: - Photos and videos, or audio files: to show, organize and edit them. - Camera and microphone: to take photos, record video and record audio, only while you are using those features. - Location: only if you turn on location in photos, to write it into the photo's details on your phone. - Notifications: to show that a recording or timed capture is running.

Sharing

The apps share a file only when you tap Share or Send and choose where it goes. What happens next is up to the app you choose.

"Report this AI result" opens your own email app with a message to us that you can read, change or delete before sending. If you send it, we receive what you sent and use it only to answer you and to improve the apps.

Children

The apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly receive information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Because the apps collect nothing, a change cannot reach information we never had.
